December 8,2017 – Psalm 89:11-12
The heavens are yours, and the earth is Yours; everything in the world is Yours—You created it all. You created north and south. Mount Tabor and Mount Hermon praise Your name. Psalm 89:11-12.
From the time we are small, the ‘mine’ word possesses our mind about any material trinket, and yet, we want more. “Mine, mine, mine,” we hear coming from tiny voices, and our own. Yet nothing is really ‘ours’! Everything belongs to the Lord!!!
Everything is His, for our Lord God created everything we see – even the North and South. How often we voice these directions! Even the Mountains praise our God, reaching for the skies because they know their Creator.
Our Lord God is our Creator. Do we reach for Him and Praise Him, as all His Creation does? Then the Lord God formed the man from the dust of the ground. He breathed the breath of life into the man’s nostrils, and the man became a living person. Genesis 2:7. Every breath we take, every word and every thought we entertain, belongs to Him. Do we choose each word and every thought to praise and worship Him?
The last two verses use words as powerful, strong, glorious strength, love, and truth to describe our Lord God. He is the beginning and the end. He gives life! His Son Jesus Christ, died for our sins, and through Him, we have love everlasting plus forgiveness. His love frees us from the chains of world-sin. When we are His, we begin to truly live and await the return of Jesus.
Now you have every spiritual gift you need as you eagerly wait for the return of our Lord Jesus Christ. He will keep you strong to the end so that you will be free from all blame on the day when our Lord Jesus Christ returns. I Corinthians 1:7-8.
Powerful is your arm! Strong is your hand! Your right hand is lifted high in glorious strength. Righteousness and justice are the foundation of your throne. Unfailing love and truth walk before you as attendants. Psalm 89:13-14.
