September 22, 2015 – Psalm 34:8-10

Psalm34-8-10The Lord’s holy people should fear and respect him. Those who respect him will always have what they need. Even strong lions get weak and hungry, but those who go to the Lord for help will have every good thing. Children, come and listen to me; I will teach you to respect the Lord. Psalm 34:8-10What do you do when you don’t feel good?  What do strong lions do when they get sick?  Have you prayed to God when you don’t feel good?  Children go to their Mom.  She has all the answers on how to make you feel good.  But who does Mom go to?  She prays to God.  Soon you will, too.Praying is having a talk with God.  Tell Him how you feel.  Tell Him you need Him.  You will feel peace in your heart as you visit with Him.  He loves you with all His heart.  Know that He spoke all that is around you into being.  He is powerful.  He will never leave you if you love Him and believe that He is.Who does a young lion go to when he has a headache?  God creates all of us.  He cares for you and young lions, too.  Anytime you don’t feel good, you can pray.  How do you know if the Lord hears your prayer?Do good!  Look for peace.  Help people to live in peace.  Then you know the Lord watches over you and He hears your prayer.Stop doing anything evil, and do good. Look for peace, and do all you can to help people live peacefully. The Lord watches over those who do what is right, and he hears their prayers. Psalm 34:14-15
