Those who live in the shelter of the Most High will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty. This I declare about the Lord: He alone is my refuge, my place of safety; he is my God, and I trust him. Psalm 91:1-2As our daughter’s, Anna, visit of 12 days came to an end, Good Bye was a difficult word, spoken with tears and longing for another hug. As I remembered God’s Word, I found this scripture and prayed for her safety in flight and safe journey home to her family. How often the hurt of goodbyes, a part of this life, The Word of God is forgotten. So much peace and joy, balm to the soul when God speaks to us. His Word comes alive and realize His power and His love for each of us.We are truly the Children of Light and the promise is that our darkness is as bright as the morning no matter the world of darkness. Hope lights the way and gives us courage. We are protected and rest in Safety. Picture the darkness with fear on all sides and no hope. Compare that with the promises of our God. Which is more appealing? Which seems to be the wise way to live our lives? I will take the path Jesus laid out for us. I will choose Jesus!Whether I travel by horse, by carriage, by automobile, train or plane, I can trust Jesus to carry me as I travel through this world. Amen, Amen!Your life will be brighter than the noonday.Even darkness will be as bright as morning.Having hope will give you courage. You will be protected and will rest in safety. You will lie down unafraid, and many will look to you for help. Job 11:17-19
