Psalm-19-8bThe instructions of the Lord are perfect, reviving the soul.  The decrees of the Lord are trustworthy, making wise the simple.  The commandments of the Lord are right, bringing joy to the heart.  The commands of the Lord are clear, giving insight for living.  Psalm 19:7-8The first thing I thought about when my friend posted this picture on facebook was the incredible picture of how the living water makes us ready for God-living.  Readying us for heaven. If I were a flower, and listened deep in my heart with understanding, to the Word of God, His commandments would be like a fresh water stream to my soul.  Then I would become crystal clear, open to all that is God.  No subterfuge, no hiding, no reluctance could be found in me.The fragile beauty is transformed.  My daughter, during her last day of her visit, discussed this with me, and we both liked the verse from I Corinthians 13:12.  Here our sight is explained, and why we puzzle over enigmas in this life. Now we see things imperfectly, like puzzling reflections in a mirror, but then we will see everything with perfect clarity. All that I know now is partial and incomplete, but then I will know everything completely, just as God now knows me completely.  NLTWe don’t yet see things clearly. We’re squinting in a fog, peering through a mist. But it won’t be long before the weather clears and the sun shines bright! We’ll see it all then, see it all as clearly as God sees us, knowing him directly just as he knows us!  The MessageEverything I know now is incomplete and partial, we are squinting in a fog.  Soon we will see it all as clearly as God sees us.  Oh Happy Day, when our favorite word is Hallelujah!“Oh, what joy for those whose disobedience is forgiven, whose sins are put out of sight. Yes, what joy for thosewhose record the Lord has cleared of sin.” Romans 1:7-8https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BOiIW8nrw5g
