Reflection on “The Christmas Forever!” December 17, 2024

“Christmas Forever!”  My Christmas is forever, For since I found the babe. A bright new love has kindled, A fire that will not fade.  My Christmas is forever,  I still hear, “Glory!, Glory!”  His star shines as bright as ever in this unending story. My Christmas is forever It’s not a day or toy, That soon is lost or broken, But a heartfelt inner joy. My Christmas is forever, When Christ becomes a part of lives that need a Savior.  Anna Daisy became my mother from 1929-1998. She continually shared her faith, joy, and thanksgiving in Jesus Christ. As I studied this poem, It became a doorway into Eternity for me.

Each time our family celebrated the birth of Jesus, it led me to the richness of spiritual depth, we began with the scripture: Within the same region, there were some shepherds staying out in the fields keeping watch over their flock by night. And an angel of the Lord suddenly stood before them and the glory of the Lord suddenly stood before them and the glory of the Lord shone around then and they were terribly frightened. But the angel said to them, ‘Do not be afraid; for behold, I bring you good news of great joy which will be for all people; for today in the city of David there has been for you a Savior who is Christ the Lord.  This will be a sign for you; you will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger.” And suddenly there appeared with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying, “Glory to God in the highest, And on earth, peace among men with whom He is pleased.” Luke 2:9-14.

How important is God’s Love? Love is patient, love is kind and is not jealos; love does not brag and arrogant does not act  unbecomingly; it does not seek its own, is not provoked, does not take into account a wrong sufferedm does not rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; bears all things, hopes all things, endures all things, I Corinthians 13:4-6.

The last verse in this chapter: But now faith, hope, love abidem these three: but the greatest of these is Love. I Corinthians 13:13.

Why did God create us? This is My Comandment that you love one another, just as I have loved you. Geater love has no one but this, that on lay downs his life for his friends. You are my friends if do what I command you. John 15:13-14.

How close is God to us?  For You formed my inward parts; You wove me in my mother’s womb. I will give thanks to You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Wonderful are Your works, And my soul knows it very well. Psalm 139:13-14.

How rich and beautiful is His Word, and how Jesus leads us to His Father God. How sweet are your words to my taste, Yes, sweeter than honey to my mouth! From Your precepts I get understanding; Therefore, I hate every false way. Psalm 119:103-104.

Why are God and Jesus, His Son so powerful?  Worthy are You, our Lord an our God, to receive glory and honor and power, for You created all things and because of Your will they existed and were created.” Revelation 4:11.

Have you considered the wonders of God’s Creation of the world? Who shaped the valleys and powerfu is God to form mountains, or maintain the power of the Seas?

The Heavens are Yours, the earth also is Yours. You hve founded them. The north and the south, You have created them;Tabor and Hermo shout for Joy at Your Name. You have a strong arm. Your hand is mighty. Your right hand is exalted. Psalm 89:16-19.

What has the might God give us and why?  “For God so loved the world tht He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perishm but have eternal life. For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world shall be saved thrpgh Hi. He who believes in Him is not judged; he who does not believed has been judged already, because he has not believed in the only begotten Son of God. John 3:16-18,
