November 16, 2021 – Psalm 40:3-4

He put a new song in my mouth, a song of praise to our God. Many will see and fear, and put their trust in the Lord. Blessed is the man who makes the Lord his trust, who does not turn to the proud, to those who go astray after a lie! Psalm 40:3-4.

Worship of our Lord God happens when we recognize God’s Presence, as Jacob did. Behold, I am with you and will keep you wherever you go, and will bring you back to this land. For I will not leave you until I have done what I have promised you.” Then Jacob awoke from his sleep and said, “Surely the Lord is in this place, and I did not know it. Genesis 28:15-16.

Praising the Lord when we put our trust and faith in our Lord. Then we sing a new song with our hearts tuned to Him. Great is Thy faithfulness, Morning by morning, new mercies I see, All I have needed, Thy hand hath provided!

Our Father in Heaven, I praise You and give thanks that You are my Help and my Deliverer in all things. Walk with me this day. I pray in the name of Jesus, Amen.

I remember the days of old; I meditate on all that you have done; I ponder the work of your hands. I stretch out my hands to you; my soul thirsts for you like a parched land.  Psalm 143:5-6.

Great is the Lord and greatly to be praised. Psalm 48:1a.

But may all who seek You rejoice and be glad in You; may those who love Your salvation say continually, “Great is the Lord!” As for me, I am poor and needy, but the Lord takes thought for me. You are my help and my deliverer; do not delay, O my God! Psalm 40:16-17.
