January 1, 2021 – Philippians 1:6-7

And I am sure of this, that He who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ. It is right for me to feel this way about you all, because I hold you in my heart, for you are all partakers with me of grace, both in my imprisonment and in the defense and confirmation of the gospel. Philippians 1:6-7.

The ultimate joy is seeing the Love of Jesus Christ transform a person’s heart.  When we hold this person in our hearts and pray for him, we find Joy in the Lord.   When we share the grace of God our love for the Son of God grows sweeter.

His love grows with knowledge and discernment, determining what is pure and holy.  It is when we pray for our hearts to be filled with His righteousness, we can take part in His Glory and Peace.

O, Father in Heaven, fill my heart with the desire for holy and righteous living, praising Him in all things, that Your Word shines forth.  I pray in the name of Jesus. Amen

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.  2 Corinthians 5:17.

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness for His name’s sake. Psalm 23:1-3.

Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

And it is my prayer that your love may abound more and more, with knowledge and all discernment, so that you may approve what is excellent, and so be pure and blameless for the day of Christ, filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God. Philippians 1:9-11.
