September 8, 2020 – I Corinthians 1:4-8

Give thanks to my God always for you because of the grace of God that was given you in Christ Jesus, that in every way you were enriched in Him in all speech and all knowledge— even as the testimony about Christ was confirmed among you— so that you are not lacking in any gift, as you wait for the revealing of our Lord Jesus Christ, who will sustain you to the end, guiltless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ. I Corinthians 1:4-8.

What is more precious than brothers and sisters in Christ? Brothers and Sisters who share their Joy in the Lord with one another.  Their lives are built on the desire to walk in His Holiness.

They use their gifts to serve others with hearts open to love one another.   Brothers and Sisters in Christ pray and are more concerned about others than themselves.  They revel in love for others with forgiveness and patience.

Father God of all, provide us with a clear vision and and mission for others.  Help our words and actions point to our Lord Jesus Christ who is without sin and died to provide salvation for us all. May we be faithful to our Lord in all things.  I pray for you, my brothers and sisters in Christ always. In the name of Jesus, Amen.

Blessed is the man who makes the Lord his trust, who does not turn to the proud, to those who go astray after a lie!  Psalm 40:4.

Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied.” “Blessed are the merciful, for they shall receive mercy.” “Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.” “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God.”  Matthew 5:6-9,

God is faithful, by whom you were called into the fellowship of His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.  I Corinthians 1:9.
