September 23, 2021 – Colossians 1:15-17

He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. For by Him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things were created through Him and for Him. And He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together. Colossians 1:15-17.

Who is Jesus?  Every time I sing the song, Jesus Loves Me, I am in awe, for all He is and always will be.  The first born of all creation and the image of the invisible God. No one has ever seen our Eternal Lord God. All things were created by Him, in heaven and on earth — visible and invisible.

For You are great and do wondrous things; You alone are God. Psalm 86:10.  These words King David, the man after God’s own heart declared.

Our Jesus, raised from the dead after being crucified, is the head of the church. He made peace for us with God by giving His life as a sacrifice.

O, Lord, Father God, You gave your only Son, Jesus, to redeem us from evil. “It is finished!” Jesus said. How beautiful that He was raised from the dead, so that. believing in Him, we have salvation, with no expiration date. I praise You!  I pray in the Name of Jesus. Amen.

Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid. John 14:27.

And He is the head of the body, the church. He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in everything He might be preeminent.  For in Him all the fullness of God was pleased to dwell,  and through Him to reconcile to Himself all things, whether on earth or in heaven, making peace by the blood of His cross. Colossians 1:18-20.
