September 15, 2020 – Ephesians 1:3-4

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places, even as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless before Him. Ephesians 1:3-4.

The desire to Praise God is to respond to His Goodness in choosing us before He created the world. Not for what we have done, but simply because we believe and live for Him.

Recently I found this prayer my Mother prayed. “Lord, help my soul stand on tiptoe so I will be ready when angels come to take me Home. Teach me to thank you with each breath I take.”  Mother received the rich spiritual blessings that are in heavenly places.

In love, He….tells us why He created us and walks with us through life, when we believe and trust Him.  Jesus makes it clear to us. Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.  John 14:6.

Oh, Lord, my God, guide me and teach me your way. In this world of lies and hatred, I long for your Love, Joy, and Peace – and the spiritual blessings of living in patience, goodness, gentleness, faithfulness, and self-control day by day.  (Galatians 5:22-23) This I pray in the Name of Your Son, Jesus, Amen.

Sing praises to the Lord, O you His saints, and give thanks to His holy name. Psalm 30:4. For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God.  Ephesians 2:8.

In love, He predestined us for adoption to Himself as sons through Jesus Christ, according to the purpose of His will, to the praise of His glorious grace, with which He has blessed us in the Beloved. Ephesians 1:5-6.
