September 11, 2015 – Psalm 27:13-14
The one thing I ask of the Lord— the thing I seek most— is to live in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, delighting in the Lord’s perfections and meditating in his Temple. For he will conceal me there when troubles come; he will hide me in his sanctuary. He will place me out of reach on a high rock. Psalm 27:4-5More than the riches of kings or the greatest pleasures on this earth, I seek to live delighting in the Lord and His perfections and meditating on His promises day and night. My cup runneth over as I contemplate his love and goodness to me.Each day when I see trouble on the horizon, I remember I am His. Then I rest in the Lord. He places me on a high rock and hides me in his sanctuary of love and peace. What more can I ask than this. Though evil and hurt may sweep over me, His Love sustains me. His Joy within is stronger than any hurt that threatens.I ask, why is the Lord so good to me? He hides me and guides me through the labyrinth of pathways that beckon me. Even as King David knew – He led me to a place of safety; he rescued me because he delights in me. Psalm 18:19.He loves me and delights in me, even as He loves you and delights in you. Believe, trust and walk in his way alone. Psalm 27:4-5
