Reflection on “The Wonder of Our Lord God!” July 30, 2024

I will lift up my eyes to the mountains; From where shall my help come? My help comes from the Lord,  I will lift up my eyes to the mountains; From where shall my help come? My help comes from the Lord, Who made heaven and earth. Psalm 121:1-2.

While I was in high school, I attended a Christian Service Camp in Colorado. The immense height of the mountain size tripled the wonderment and awe of God’s Creation after the hills in Oklahoma and Arkansas for. I would have despaired unless I had believed that I would see the goodness of the Lord In the land of the living. Wait for the Lord; Be strong and let your heart take courage; Yes, wait for the Lord. Jeremiah 27:13.14.

Who made heaven and earth. Psalm 121:1-2.

While I was in high school, I attended a Christian Service Camp in Colorado. The immense height of the mountain size tripled the wonderment and awe of God’s Creation after the hills in Oklahoma and Arkansas for me. I would have despaired unless I had believed that I would see the goodness of the Lord In the land of the living. Wait for the Lord; Be strong and let your heart take courage; Yes, wait for the Lord. Jeremiah 27:13.14.

Another verse from Jeremiah: “After I had given the deed of purchase to Baruch the son of Neriah, then I prayed to the Lord, saying, ‘Ah Lord God! Behold, You have made the heavens and the earth by Your great power and by Your outstretched arm! Nothing is too difficult for You, who shows lovingkindness to thousands, but repays the iniquity of fathers into the bosom of their children after them, O great and mighty God. The Lord of hosts is His name.” Jeremiah 32:16-18.

In Genesis One, God created man in His image, male and female. He created them. Have you ever wondered why He created you? For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them. Ephesians 2:10.

How close are we to God, who gives us each breath? When we meditate day and night; and walk on His pathway of this we are certain: For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:38-39.

We look for an easy road and look for a way to go with the least amount of pain in this world. John gives us the answer of the answer: Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.” John 14:6.

Here is how we find the Way, along with the Truth and Life. He will not allow your foot to slip; He who keeps you will not slumber. Behold, He who keeps Israel Will neither slumber nor sleep. Psalm 121:3-4.

In the way of righteousness is life, and in its pathway, there is no death. Proverbs 12:28.

God told Abraham to take his son, Isaac, to Mount Moriah to be sacrificed. God was testing Abraham’s Faith in Him. When I endure physical or spiritual pain, I ask God what He is teaching me and turn to this scripture. Consider it all joy, my brethren, when you encounter various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. James 1:2-3.

Apostle Paul reminds us that this world is not our home. Beloved, I urge you as aliens and strangers to abstain from fleshly lusts which wage war against the soul. Keep your behavior excellent among the Gentiles, so that in the thing in which they slander you as evildoers, they may, because of your good deeds, as they observe them, glorify God in the day of visitation. I Peter 2:11-12.

All creation groans. For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that is to be revealed to us. Romans 8:18,

The Lord is your keeper; The Lord is your shade on your right hand. The sun will not smite you by day. Nor the moon by night, Psalm 121:5-6.

How many times have you felt fear, and cried tears of sorrow? Can you imagine a life without sadness and tears and pain in your lifetime?

He will wipe away every tear from their eyes; and there will no longer be any death; there will no longer be any mourning, or crying, or pain; the first things have passed away. ”And He who sits on the throne said, “Behold, I am making all things new.” And He said, “Write, for these words are faithful and true. Then, He said to me, “It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give to the one who thirsts from the spring of the water of life without cost.” Revelation 21:4-6.

The Lord will protect you from all evil; He will keep your soul. The guard will guard your going out and your coming in, From this time forth and forever.  Psalm 121:7-8.

Nothing on earth is forever. Only One has promised us a Forever! “He will wipe away every tear from their eyes; and there will no longer be any death; there will no longer be any mourning, or crying, or pain; the first things have passed away.” And He who sits on the throne said, “Behold, I am making all things new.” And He said, “Write, for these words are faithful and true.” Then He said to me, “It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give to the one who thirsts from the spring of  the water of life without cost.” Hebrews 13:7-8.

We wait for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ for our Forever! Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful; and let us consider how to stimulate one another to love and good deeds, not forsaking our own assembling together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another; and all the more, as you see, the day drawing near. Hebrews 10:23-25.
