I Peter 4:19
I have seen the wonders
Of our love through generations
How blessed is your name
To your daughters and sons.
Luke 1:33
Fill my heart, Lord
Fill it with your grace
I will ever want more
Until I see your face.
Fill my heart, Lord
Fill it with your love
Teach me with patience
Until you take me above.
Fill my heart, Lord
With your loving kindness
That I might others adorn
With your sweet blessedness.
Luke 2:49
I long to be a child of God
Walking through life by His side
Climbing each mountain
Through dark valleys
Across this Divide.
The journey isn’t long
If He walks with me
The precipice not deep
For His glory, I see.
What does God offer?
What does He share?
Freedom from sin and sorrow
Everlasting life God’s care.
When it is time to cross
The valley of death
I’ll close my eyes
and take my last breath.
Knowing that I’ve lived
A life so free
And it has just begun
A life of eternity.
John 16:12
When I bow my head in prayer
Help my heart bow, too.
May my hands be lifted up
May my will be one with You
For prayer is more than words
It is more than forming thoughts
It is a surrender of my self
It is a revealing of self you taught.
The cross is the key
To understand the way
And follow you daily
And cleave to you each day.
Luke 18:31
Why did God choose me?
I am of no value
I am at the end os suffering
There is nothing to review
Why did God choose me?
It’s not because of who I am
It’s because of who I’m not
It’s because of Jesus, the Lamb
Why did God choose me?
He loves the me He made
He wants to walk with me
When I walk with Him the me fades.
Surround me with your love
That I live free
To walk with you only
And be God’s me.
