October 3, 2018 – Ecclesiastes 3:10-11
I have seen the burden God has placed on us all. Yet God has made everything beautiful for its own time. He has planted eternity in the human heart, but even so, people cannot see the whole scope of God’s work from beginning to end. Ecclesiastes 3:10-11.
The beauty God has created all around us cannot be measured. The panoramic view of ever-changing delights is all around us. The ‘oh’s and ah’s’ and wonder of color, patterns, and designs capture our hearts. Poetic words or the paintings of masters will never fully describe God’s creation in its complexity.
The red flash of bird’s wings and the colorful flight of a bumble bee never competes with the freshness of a newborn baby. This verse from Psalm 139:13 reveals why. You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body and knit me together in my mother’s womb. Verses 17-18, tells us more – How precious are your thoughts about me, O God. They cannot be numbered! I can’t even count them; they outnumber the grains of sand!
And when I wake up, you are still with me!
God placed the longing for Eternity in our hearts before we were born. We are in His thoughts before we are born and after we leave this earth. We only see His Works in a small slice of time while on this earth. We do not know the scope of all God is.
It is when we give our hearts and our lives to Him can we begin to KNOW our Lord God through Jesus. I have not stopped thanking God for you. I pray for you constantly, asking God, the glorious Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, to give you spiritual wisdom and insight so that you might grow in your knowledge of God. Ephesians 1:16-17.
And I know that whatever God does is final. Nothing can be added to it or taken from it. God’s purpose is that people should fear him. Ecclesiastes 3:14.
