IThessalonians5-23-24Now may the God of peace make you holy in every way, and may your whole spirit and soul and body be kept blameless until our Lord Jesus Christ comes again. God will make this happen, for He who call you is faithful. I Thessalonians 5:23-24God of Peace will make us holy!  Oh, how sweet those words are.  We know we cannot become holy on our own; we simply submit and commit to living for Jesus.  This commitment can only be done through complete submission to our Lord. With our propensity for arrogance, we must replace arrogance with a humble spirit and we are on our way to be totally His. How long, Oh, Lord?  How do we accomplish this holy journey? The verses below reminds me of the ‘Mom-Words’ – Close the door, pick up your clothes, do your chores, behave yourself, when are you going to learn, chew with your mouth closed, clean up your mess.…Apostle Paul teaches the Christians in Thessalonica how to live for Jesus with  ‘God-Words’.  Three ways to be IN God’s will from this day until The Day of His Second Coming.  Rejoice always (with the Joy in Jesus – a deep-seated joy not dependent on circumstances).  Pray continually (walk with God every moment in life with constant praise and supplication.)  Give thanks in all circumstances  (in life, in sickness, in accidents, in deaths, give thanks to God.)We are life-long learners in this life to prepare for our eternal life with God.  No room for the grumpies or complainers.  No time to live for self.  Being a success is measured by spiritual means, not the world.  Rejoice, Pray and Give Thanks!  Oh, Lord, give me strength to live daily in Your Will and I will give You all the praise forever!

Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. I Thessalonians 5:16-18
