October 23, 2019 – Romans 1:16-17
For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith for faith, as it is written, “The righteous shall live by faith.” Romans 1:16-17.
From moment to moment, from day to day, the righteous shall live by faith to faith. Believing in God, Believing in Jesus, brings us joy unbounded and abundant life.
Many are the sorrows of the wicked, but steadfast love surrounds the one who trusts in the Lord. Be glad in the Lord, and rejoice, O righteous, and shout for joy, all you upright in heart! Psalm 32:10-11.
There is no greater love except the redeeming love God has showered on us through Jesus, His Son. Every time I see a seed, the stars at night, feel the refreshing rain, feel the breeze, I know God is. When I see a newborn baby I know God’s might and power.
The Lord your God is in your midst, a mighty One who will save; He will rejoice over you with gladness; He will quiet you by His love; He will exult over you with loud singing. Zephaniah 3:17.
For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well. Psalm 139:13-14. As the years pass, I sing, Lead me gently home, Father, lead me gently home…
For what can be known about God is plain to them because God has shown it to them. For His invisible attributes, namely, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse. Romans 1:19-20.
