October 2, 2018 – Ephesians 1:9-10

God has now revealed to us His mysterious will regarding Christ—which is to fulfill his own good plan. And this is the plan: At the right time, He will bring everything together under the authority of Christ—everything in heaven and on earth. Ephesians 1:9-10.

How much does God love us?  Does He care when we hurt? Does He rejoice when we find Joy in Him?  God purposed and planned for us from the ‘Beginning.’  He chose us before we were born.  He makes everything work out according to His Great PLAN. 

His mysterious plan comes together under the authority of Christ.  Everything in Heaven and on earth come together under the authority of Christ.

For it is written: “As I live, says the Lord, Every knee shall bow to Me, And every tongue shall confess to God.” Romans 14:11 (NKJV)

How are we united?  How will we receive an inheritance from God?  When we are united with Christ Jesus, God’s only Son. “Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.” Acts 4:12.

What is God’s will for our lives? For God’s will was for us to be made holy by the sacrifice of the body of Jesus Christ, once for all time.  Hebrews 10:10.

“For you were like sheep going astray, but have now returned to the Shepherd and Overseer of your souls.” 1 Peter 2:25. (NKJ)

Who do you follow?  Who do you turn to?  Psalm 23 begins… The Lord is my Shepherd. I shall not want…He leads me in paths of righteousness for His Name’s Sake. (NKJ)

Furthermore, because we are united with Christ, we have received an inheritance from God, for He chose us in advance, and He makes everything work out according to His plan. Ephesians 1:11.
