October 14, 2021 – 2 Corinthians 5:17-18

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come. All this is from God, who through Christ reconciled us to himself and gave us the ministry of reconciliation. 2 Corinthians 5:17-18.

Accepting Jesus Christ as our Savior means our lives become new. No longer are we satisfied in being attracted to the fleeting pleasures of the world’s ‘new’.  This is the gift of Grace from our Creator God – a restored relationship with Our Father in Heaven through Jesus His Son.

He gives us the mission of bringing others back to our Lord.  To reconcile them to the Lord. For we long to share our Joy and Peace in Jesus with others. And He said to them, “Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation.  Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned. Mark 16:15-16.

Our Father in Heaven, give me the strength and the desire to follow and obey our Lord and Savior. Make me a worthy ambassador for Christ Jesus. I pray in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Put on then, as God’s chosen ones, holy and beloved, compassionate hearts, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience, bearing with one another and, if one has a complaint against another, forgiving each other; as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive. Colossians 3:12-13.

When we become new in Christ, we become God’s Chosen ones. God  protects us and fight for us. The Lord will fight for you, and you have only to be silent. Exodus 14:14.

Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, God making his appeal through us. We implore you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God. For our sake He made Him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in Him we might become the righteousness of God. 2 Corinthians 5:20 – 21.
