October 14, 2020 – Isaiah 55:10-11

“For as the rain and the snow come down from heaven and do not return there but water the earth, making it bring forth and sprout, giving seed to the sower and bread to the eater, so shall my word be that goes out from my mouth; it shall not return to me empty, but it shall accomplish that which I purpose, and shall succeed in the thing for which I sent it.”  Isaiah 55:10-11.

God’s Word stands. It is truth. For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart. Hebrews 4:12.

God has a purpose for His Creation, and His Word, the Holy Bible presents His purpose and how His purpose will be achieved.  There is no where we can hide from God’s Truth! Can a man hide himself in secret places so that I cannot see him? declares the Lord. Do I not fill heaven and earth? declares the LordJeremiah 23:24.

Let those who delight in my righteousness shout for joy and be glad and say evermore, “Great is the Lord,
who delights in the welfare of his servant!” Psalm 35:27.

Dear Lord, You make known to me the path of life;  in your presence there is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore. (Psalm 16:11).  Help me to choose your path of righteousness ever more. In the name of Jesus, I pray.  Amen.

Seek the Lord while He may be found; call upon Him while He is near.”  Isaiah 55:6.

“For you shall go out in joy and be led forth in peace; the mountains and the hills before you shall break forth into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.” Isaiah 55:12.
