October 12, 2020 – Psalm 1:1-3

Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the wicked, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of scoffers; but his delight is in the law of the Lord, and on His law, he meditates day and night. He is like a tree planted by streams of water that yields its fruit in its season, and its leaf does not wither. In all that he does, he prospers. Psalm 1:1-3.

Walking, standing, and sitting with those who ridicule God and take His Name in vain creates the ultimate death of our souls.

When we delight in the goodness and righteousness of our Father Jehovah, we produce the Fruit of the Spirit in our hearts: Love, Joy, Peace, Patience,  Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentleness, and Self-Control.  (Galatians 5:22-23).

Dear Heavenly Father, help us to delight in the refreshment of Your Word. Help us to see our lives as You see us.  May we humble ourselves before You, and Listen to Your Voice.  In Jesus’ Name, Amen and Amen.

For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.  Ephesians 2:10. The Lord knows the way of righteousness.

Complete my joy by being of the same mind, having the same love, being in full accord and of one mind. Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves.  Philippians 2:2-3.

O Lord, our Lord, How majestic is Your name in all the earth, we praise Your Name! (Michael W Smith).

The wicked are not so but are like chaff that the wind drives away. Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous; for the Lord knows the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked will perish. Psalm 1:4-6.
