October 10, 2019 – Isaiah 54:10
For the mountains may depart and the hills be removed, but my steadfast love shall not depart from you, and my covenant of peace shall not be removed,” says the Lord, who has compassion on you. Isaiah 54:10.
As children, we picked a flower and pulled each petal saying, He loves me, He loves me not! Imagine determining being loved with flower petals. When it comes to wondering if God loves us, wonder no more. His love stands forever. The huge mountains could disappear, but His love will not.
His love is sure for those who are His friends and love Him. But remember this verse and ask, Who loved first? We love because He first loved us. I John 4:19. How do we know? We were born into the World God created, thinking of us. For God chose us and loved us before we were born. He planned for us. Without Him, we would not know about Love, Joy, or Peace. How much does He love us?
“For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through Him.” John 3:16-17.
This love is not for one generation! Just as parents want their children to have the most nutritious food, God has provided His Word to feed the mind and spirit in His Way. Peace and righteousness provides freedom from fear for the Children who love God.
All your children shall be taught by the Lord, and great shall be the peace of your children. In righteousness you shall be established; you shall be far from oppression, for you shall not fear; and from terror, for it shall not come near you. Isaiah 54:13-14.
