November 8, 2017 – Psalm 28:6-7
Praise the Lord! For he has heard my cry for mercy. The Lord is my strength and shield. I trust him with all my heart. He helps me, and my heart is filled with joy. I burst out in songs of thanksgiving. Psalm 28:6-7.
How can I keep from singing Your praise? How can I ever say enough? How amazing is your love. How can I keep from shouting your name? I know I am loved by the King, And it makes my heart want to sing! (Chris Tomlin)
The God of Mercy gave us Jesus…and fills my heart with Joy and Thanksgiving. When sorrow threatens to cast me down, He brings me up. When tears threaten to flood my heart, He gives me Hope. There is no One like Jesus.
When I am weak, He gives me strength. When I am sad, He gives me reason to rejoice and give thanks! When I trust Him, I know peace. He forgives my sins and knows me like no other. Jesus knows the melody I sing, and He is the Word, I sing. He is the Word, He is the Light, He is the Way, and He is the Truth.
“Don’t let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God, and trust also in me. There is more than enough room in my Father’s home. If this were not so, would I have told you that I am going to prepare a place for you? When everything is ready, I will come and get you, so that you will always be with me where I am. And you know the way to where I am going.” John 14:1-4.
The Lord gives his people strength. He is a safe fortress for his anointed king. Psalm 28:8.
