November 29, 2018 – Psalm 46:9-10
He causes wars to end throughout the earth. He breaks the bow and snaps the spear; He burns the shields with fire. “Be still and know that I am God! I will be honored by every nation. I will be honored throughout the world.” Psalm 46:9-10.
Being still before the Lord is a choice. Surrounding ourselves with noise and chaos like a forest trees to try to hide from ‘knowing God.’ This same Father God laid the cornerstone of the foundation of the earth while the morning stars sang together.
This same Jehovah Jireh shut in the sea with doors and (Job 38) commanded the morning to begin. He is the One comprehends the breadth of the earth and binds the cluster of the Pleiades.
Before this Lord God, we have no words to say. He will be honored throughout the world by every nation, and we are silenced by Awe for all our Lord God is to us. He provides for His Children because He loves us. Oh, that we could love as we are loved. John 3:13-17 tells us to what lengths our God goes in loving us.
No one has ascended to heaven but He who came down from heaven, that is, the Son of Man who is in heaven. And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.
The Lord of Heaven’s Armies is here among us; the God of Israel is our fortress. Psalm 46:11.
