I-Peter3-12They must turn from evil and do good; they must seek peace and pursue it.  For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous and his ears are attentive to their prayer, but the face of the Lord is against those who do evil. Who is going to harm you if you are eager to do good? I Peter 3:11-13Pursue doing good.  Why?  Why not pursue that which is our nature — doing evil.  Let me count the ways.  Doing evil is like walking through a dark forest with strange noises and fearful apparitions waiting to pounce on our spirit and capture our being. prayers are uttered, but not heard. The promise for being eager to do good?  For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous and his ears are attentive to their prayer….Who has the power to destroy us, if we eagerly do good?  Once we accept Jesus, we are no longer of this world.  Though the world is against us, and we walk as strangers through this land, we are protected from the evil one.We walk in the light, walking always by the Light of Jesus Christ, to the Light that is His glory.  We walk in His Love singing, Oh, how I love you….  We walk in Hope and Peace and Joy. Blessed be His Name!I have given them your word and the world has hated them, for they are not of the world any more than I am of the world. My prayer is not that you take them out of the world but that you protect them from the evil one. They are not of the world, even as I am not of it. John 17:14-16
