Ephesians 1:2-3 – May God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ give you grace and peace. All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realms because we are united with Christ.

Grace and Peace. Both of these spiritual blessings are ours through our Father God and the Lord Jesus Christ through their amazing Love.  God loved us and chose us IN Christ before He made the world.

God wants us, He loves us, He chose us, in Christ Jesus.  God has plans and purpose for our lives.  “No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love Him.” I Corinthians 2:9, Isaiah 64:4.  

God knows what we are capable of being and doing in this life.  Not until we believe, walk in faith, and trust in Him, will we begin to experience the ‘why’ of a life in Christ Jesus. God himself has prepared us for this, and as a guarantee he has given us his Holy Spirit. 2 Corinthians 5:5.

Why do we praise Him?  Why choose to walk with Him? Because we will know where Home is. So we are always confident, even though we know that as long as we live in these bodies we are not at home with the Lord. 2 Corinthians 5:6.

In John 14:1-2, we read the promise of Home! “Don’t let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God, and trust also in me. There is more than enough room in my Father’s home. If this were not so, would I have told you that I am going to prepare a place for you?”

My heart is confident in you, O God; my heart is confident. No wonder I can sing your praises!  Psalm 57:7.  We open our arms wide and rejoice, giving our Lord God and Jesus Christ, the honor and glory forever more!
