November 23, 2017 – Jude 24

Now all glory to God, who is able to keep you from falling away and will bring you with great joy into his glorious presence without a single fault. Jude 24.

In the hands of God, the Father, we are secure. We won’t fall!  The great joy we find in the presence of God is greater than dessert after a meal after a huge dinner at Thanksgiving.

When we consider how great God’s Love is for us, we cannot imagine in our wildest dreams how great and powerful our God, our Savior through Jesus Christ is before all time, in the present and beyond all time.

Have you ever considered what Jesus is thinking?  He has all the answers, every knee will bow down to Him.  He will always be. He will never grow old…nor will his commands have to be updated.  His love flows faithfully.

When we understand that Jesus IS our Savior and we commit to follow Him, then true Thanksgiving begins in our hearts! Not for one day a year, but every moment we draw another breath. When everything falls to pieces in our lives – then is the time to turn to Jesus.  He is the answer to our search for living in love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, gentleness, faithfulness and self-control. (Galatians 5:22-23) This is what we yearn for and can’t seem to find anywhere, in others or ourselves.

It is a process of turning to Him, being humble, and leaning on Jesus that makes the difference. His Grace and Hope give us reasons to be thankful – and ‘sing a new song’.

All glory to him who alone is God, our Savior through Jesus Christ our Lord. All glory, majesty, power, and authority are his before all time, and in the present, and beyond all time! Amen. Jude 25.
