November 19, 2020 – Psalm 28:6-7

Blessed be the Lord! For He has heard the voice of my pleas for mercy. The Lord is my strength and my shield; in Him my heart trusts, and I am helped; my heart exults, and with my song, I give thanks to Him. Psalm 28:6-7.

Blessed be the Lord, for He is worthy of adoration, worship and reverence.   He brings our thankfulness, joy, and praise in every act we do and every word we utter to His Glory.

The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear?
The Lord is the stronghold of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?  Psalm 27:1.

There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear. For fear has to do with punishment, and whoever fears has not been perfected in love.  We love because he first loved us.  I John 4:18-19.

O, Father God, I want to be enveloped in your love and adoration, and not in terrifying fear. You are my strength and my shield in this world. May my trust and faith in You be strengthened day by day. I pray in the Name of Your Son, Jesus, Amen.

You are my Shepherd, You carry me forever. The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness for His name’s sake.  Psalm 23:1-3.

Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ.  Colossians 3 23-24.

The Lord is the strength of His people; He is the saving refuge of His anointed. Oh, save your people and bless your heritage! Be their shepherd and carry them forever. Psalm 28:8-9.
