November 19, 2018 – Psalm 103:1-3

Let all that I am praise the Lord; with my whole heart, I will praise his holy name. Let all that I am praise the Lord; may I never forget the good things He does for me. He forgives all my sins and heals all my diseases. Psalm 103:1-3.

Praising God with my whole heart chases away any residue of complaints!  When I praise God, my heart is filled with thankfulness of all the good things He does for me.

He satisfies my deepest longings and forgives all my sins.  He sent Jesus to set me free. Jesus replied, “I tell you the truth, everyone who sins is a slave of sin.  A slave is not a permanent member of the family, but a son is part of the family forever.  So if the Son sets you free, you are truly free.  John 8:34-36.

As days grow into weeks and then years, I ask, how can I be strong and courageous in the Lord?  Those I love leave this earth, how can I go on?

Even youths will become weak and tired, and young men will fall in exhaustion. But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint. Isaiah 40:30-31.

Don’t be afraid, for I am with you.  Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand. Isaiah 41:10.

See, God has come to save me. I will trust in Him and not be afraid. The Lord God is my strength and my song; He has given me victory.”  Isaiah 12:2

He redeems me from death and crowns me with love and tender mercies.  He fills my life with good things.  My youth is renewed like the eagle’s!  Psalm 103-4-5.
