As I watched, the Lamb broke the first of the seven seals on the scroll. Then I heard one of the four living beings say with a voice like thunder, “Come!” I looked up and saw a white horse standing there. Its rider carried a bow, and a crown was placed on his head. He rode out to win many battles and gain the victory. Revelation 6:1-2When I read, I looked up and saw a white horse standing there….I am in awe. When I saw this picture of a white horse, holding itself as royalty, I am reminded again of how God’s Creation is used for His Purposes. Can you imagine a horse standing there, and the mounting of the rider, carrying a bow. A conquering rider crowned with the blessing of God, his jewels shimmering like stars in the night. The rider, with his faithful steed is ready to do battle against evil.Zechariah 1:8 reveals, In a vision during the night, I saw a man sitting on a red horse that was standing among some myrtle trees in a small valley. Behind him were riders on red, brown, and white horses. Then in Revelation 19:21, the battle is finished. Their entire army was killed by the sharp sword that came from the mouth of the one riding the white horse. And the vultures all gorged themselves on the dead bodies.A wise man once said, I can tell you what Revelation is all about…God wins! Indeed, this is man is correct. For the battle is finished before the judgement came. May we be ready to follow the rider named Faithful and True. His is a righteous battle. Many crowns on his head leaves no doubt about his standing. What is his name, the name written on him that no one understands except the rider? To us, his name is Jesus, the Messiah, the Prince of Peace, the ultimate Majesty, the Glorious One, the Great Shepherd. Let us follow Him now and forever. Then I saw heaven opened, and a white horse was standing there. Its rider was named Faithful and True, for he judges fairly and wages a righteous war. His eyes were like flames of fire, and on his head were many crowns. A name was written on him that no one understood except himself. Revelation 19:11-12
