November 13, 2020 – Psalm 25:1-2, 4

To you, O Lord, I lift up my soul. O my God, in you I trust; let me not be put to shame; let not my enemies exult over me. Make me to know your ways, O Lord; teach me your paths.  Psalm 25:1-2,4.

I lift up my inner most self, my soul, to You, in trust and adoration. My enemies will not conquer me, for I belong only to you.

Teach me, O Lord, Your ways and Your Paths of Righteousness.  May I turn each anxious moment to the One who desires  my good, preparing me for an eternal inheritance with Him, my Creator.  Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life; whoever comes to me shall not hunger, and whoever believes in me shall never thirst. John 6:35.

I will not boast in what I do, but only in Him who teaches the humble.  Humble yourselves before the Lord, and He will exalt you.  James 4:10.

Having purified your souls by your obedience to the truth for a sincere brotherly love, love one another earnestly from a pure heart. I Peter 1:22.

Dear Father God, I humbly bow before you in wonder and adoration. There is no other Name able to save my sins.  Teach me to complete obedience and joy in the Lord for you are steadfast in love and faithfulness.  I pray in the Name of Your Son, Jesus, Amen.

But may all who seek you rejoice and be glad in you; may those who love your salvation say continually, “Great is the Lord!”  Psalm 40:16.
Good and upright is the Lord; therefore he instructs sinners in the way. He leads the humble in what is right and teaches the humble His way. All the paths of the Lord are steadfast love and faithfulness, for those who keep His covenant and His testimonies. Psalm 25:8-10.
