November 1, 2019 – Philippians 3:13-15

Brothers, I do not consider that I have made it my own. But one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. Let those of us who are mature think this way, and if in anything you think otherwise, God will reveal that also to you.  Philippians 3:13-15.

The most worthy of goals in this life is to belong heart and soul to Jesus Christ and let Him lead us.  This is mature thinking, this is wisdom, this is Worshiping God.  The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom; all those who practice it have a good understanding. His praise endures forever! Psalm 111:10.

See what kind of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God; and so we are. The reason why the world does not know us is that it did not know Him.  I John 3:1.

Our citizenship is not on earth, but in Heaven! And I sing, And I am who I am, because the I Am tells me who I am! God said to Moses, “I am who I am.” And He said, “Say this to the people of Israel: ‘I am has sent me to you.’” Exodus 3:14.

How often I heard my mother quote these verses. Delight yourself in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart.  Commit your way to the Lord; trust in Him, and He will act. Psalm 37:4-5.

Trust Him to transform us, and He will bring us great Joy!

But our citizenship is in heaven, and from it, we await a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, who will transform our lowly body to be like His glorious body, by the power that enables Him even to subject all things to Himself.  Philippians 3:20-21.
