May 6, 2015 – Proverbs 3:19-20
The LORD by wisdom founded the earth; by understanding he established the heavens; by his knowledge the deeps broke open, and the clouds drop down the dew. Proverbs 3:19-20The LORD is unfathomable in His Acts and Thinking and Knowing, and I bow down in Praise and Worship. When I try to measure my abilities to God’s, I see mine as a thimbleful and God’s wisdom, knowledge and understanding is more than ten thousand city water towers full. When I think of The LORD, I often fall at His Feet and worship in tears of joy and say, I wonder how He could love me?The song, “I won’t have to cross Jordan alone, Jesus died all my sins to atone, In the darkness I see … He’ll be waiting for me, I won’t have to cross Jordan alone.” (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k7kTl50fol0)Even in death, I will experience his wisdom, understanding and knowledge. For He has prepared the last journey for me with His Great Love. And I ask the question over and over, “Whom have I in heaven but You?” I ask this question as I walk in this wilderness of struggle on earth. For I know that only in the LORD do I have assurance that my needs are met. The LORD is the I AM that leads and guides me through the unknowns and pitfalls of each day. He is the Rapha God who heals my sin-sore heart. Jehovah-Jireh provides for every need.David said this so clearly. God is the strength of my heart and my portion…in the night-time of nightmares, during the hurry-scurry of each day and forever more. Is it any wonder that He is my Great Wondrous I AM?You guide me with your counsel, and afterward you will receive me to glory. Whom have I in heaven but you? And there is nothing on earth that I desire besides you. My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever. Psalm 23:24-26
