May 4, 2021 – 2 Corinthians 5:17-18.
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come. All this is from God, who through Christ reconciled us to Himself and gave us the ministry of reconciliation. 2 Corinthians 5:17-18.
Our gift from God is enjoying a restored relationship with Him through His Son, Jesus Christ. We are renewed in our thinking and purpose each day. Our focus becomes bringing others to walk with Jesus.
The fear of death disappears when we follow Jesus and become new creatures in Him. When the perishable puts on the imperishable, and the mortal puts on immortality, then shall come to pass the saying that is written: “Death is swallowed up in victory.” “Death is swallowed up in victory.” I Corinthians 15:54-55.
“Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied Blessed are the merciful, for they shall receive mercy. Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God. Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God.” Matthew 5:6-9.
Our Father in Heaven, Hallowed be Thy Name. Help me to reflect your precious Love to all I meet and listen to the Holy Spirit’s guidance. I pray in the Name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me. Psalm 51:10.
But they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint. Isaiah 40:31.
Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, God making His appeal through us. We implore you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God. For our sake, He made Him to be sin who knew no sin so that in Him we might become the righteousness of God. 2 Corinthians 5:20-21.
