May 25, 2021 – Psalm 119:12-13.

Blessed are you, O Lord; teach me your statutes! With my lips, I declare all the rules of your mouth. In the way of your testimonies, I delight as much as in all riches. Psalm 119:12-13.

It is how we respond to God that indicates our delight in Him.  It begins with realizing the place in our lives God has.  He created the world we live in, His breath is in our lungs.  Without Him, we would not be.

Without God we are unable to do anything.  Have we thanked Him for His goodness to awaken us to another new day?  We make much of our daily ‘to-do’ lists. The heart of man plans his way, but the Lord establishes his steps. Proverbs 16:9. If we are proud of what we know, we have forgotten Who God is.

O Lord, my God, turn my heart always to your testimonies and help me to delight in obeying your commands. I will delight in the sustaining power of your Son’s Love continually. I pray in the name of Jesus, Amen.

I will not forget Your Word. Your Word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.  Psalm 119:105.

But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin.  I John 1:7. Again Jesus spoke to them, saying, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”  John 8:12.

His delight is in the law of the Lord, and on His law he meditates day and night. Psalm 1:2.

In the way of your testimonies, I delight as much as in all riches. I will meditate on your precepts and fix my eyes on your ways. I will delight in your statutes; I will not forget your word. Psalm 119:14-16.
