May 25, 2015 – Isaiah 12:4-6

Isaiah12-4-6In that day you will say: “Give praise to the Lord, proclaim his name;make known among the nations what he has done, and proclaim that his name is exalted. Sing to the Lord, for he has done glorious things; let this be known to all the world. Shout aloud and sing for joy, people of Zion, for great is the Holy One of Israel among you.” Isaiah 12:4-6In that day — every day — I will praise God.  Though I am tired, though I be sick, though I don’t know which way to turn, I remember.  And I praise The Lord God Almighty for Who He is to the world and to me.When I was young, singing was my joy.  So many times the sky was not wide enough or high enough to hold my song.  It was not until stepping stones grew into stumbling stones in my life, that I realized the depth of my need for His Great Love.  I count it as joy – and remember –Dear brothers and sisters, when troubles of any kind come your way, consider it an opportunity for great joy. For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow.  James 1:2-3  Let it be, dear Lord, let it be.  Have your way with me.Now I sing with inward abandon and joyous praise!  For I have learned to trust Him for salvation and comfort.  I am not afraid for the Lord God is my strength and my song all the rest of my days.Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand.  Isaiah 41:10In that day you will sing: “I will praise you, O Lord! You were angry with me, but not any more. Now you comfort me. See, God has come to save me. I will trust in him and not be afraid. The Lord God is my strength and my song; he has given me victory.” Isaiah 12:1-2
