March 5, 2018 – I Corinthians 1:8-9
He will keep you strong to the end so that you will be free from all blame on the day when our Lord Jesus Christ returns. God will do this, for he is faithful to do what he says, and he has invited you into partnership with his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. I Corinthians 1:8-9.
Remember all those times when you were blamed for something? No matter how many times, you say, “It’s not my fault,” the blame game continued. We want to be innocent, but how can we. when everyone seems to be against us?
We will be free from all blame when Jesus Christ returns to gather his own, those who believe in Him, home with Him. How glorious! God does this. He is faithful and just.
How can this be? What is the second law? Love thy neighbor as thyself! This means, no matter what race, what language, we are united by the authority of Jesus Christ our Lord, to live in harmony with each other with no divisions. Be of one mind, in thought and purpose, centered on Lord Jesus Christ. No anger, no competing for the highest honors, but thinking more of others than ourselves. Living in this way on earth gives us a taste of Heaven and living in His Love and forgiveness.
Dear friends, since God loved us that much, we surely ought to love each other. No one has ever seen God. But if we love each other, God lives in us, and his love is brought to full expression in us. I John 4:11-12.
I appeal to you, dear brothers and sisters, by the authority of our Lord Jesus Christ, to live in harmony with each other. Let there be no divisions in the church. Rather, be of one mind, united in thought and purpose. I Corinthians 1:10.
