March 25, 2021 – Hebrews 2:3-6
How shall we escape if we neglect such a great salvation? It was declared at first by the Lord, and it was attested to us by those who heard, while God also bore witness by signs and wonders and various miracles and by gifts of the Holy Spirit distributed according to his will. For it was not to angels that God subjected the world to come, of which we are speaking. It has been testified somewhere, “What is man, that you are mindful of him, or the son of man, that you care for him? Hebrews 2:3-6.
Let us make man in our image, after our likeness. Genesis 1:26. We belong to Him. He gave us dominion over all creatures of the world. He cares for us and He sent Jesus, His Son, to redeem us.
Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. John 14:6. Through knowing Jesus, we will know our Father God.
O God, Our God, lift up my eyes to our Savior Jesus, who came to seek and save the lost. Help me to thirst after righteousness and learn to love You with abandon and hunger for your goodness. I pray in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin. I John 1:7. A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another. John 13:34.
For he who sanctifies and those who are sanctified all have one source. That is why he is not ashamed to call them brothers, saying, “I will tell of Your Name to my brothers; in the midst of the congregation, I will sing your praise.” Hebrews 2:11-12.
