March 22, 2021 – John 17:3-5
And this is eternal life, that they know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent. I glorified you on earth, having accomplished the work that You gave me to do. And now, Father, glorify me in Your own presence with the glory that I had with You before the world existed. John 17:3-5.
Knowing God, and not allowing Him to transform us by renewing our minds, creates a void in faith. Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect. Romans 12:2.
Transformation comes through knowing more about our God, and desiring to please Him. This causes our relationship with God to grow. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven. Matthew 5:16. KJV. These are the words of Jesus who recognized that everything is a gift from God, will also recognize Jesus as the Son of God who brings us a relationship with His Father.
Dear Father in Heaven, I praise You, for without You, there is no life and no universe. In you I find the richness your salvation through Jesus Christ. Hallowed be Your Name, I pray in the name of Jesus. Amen.
May my meditation be pleasing to Him, for I rejoice in the Lord. Psalm 104:34.
Now they know that everything that You have given me is from You. For I have given them the words that You gave me, and they have received them and have come to know in truth that I came from You; and they have believed that You sent me. I am praying for them. I am not praying for the world but for those whom You have given me, for they are Yours. John 17:7-9.
