March 21, 2018 – Isaiah 26:2-3

Open the gates to all who are righteous; allow the faithful to enter. You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in you, all whose thoughts are fixed on you! Isaiah 26:2-3.

How blessed to know You, O Lord, will keep us in perfect peace.  In a world of trouble and sorrow, it is a blessing to know we  are not alone.  When we are faithful to our Lord God, we are in His Presence.

When we are faithful to our Creator, He provides us a place where we can hide from the World’s Woe and Sin.  This morning, I opened my computer and found this message and writing from our daughter, Anna.   “Have you heard the scripture song, ‘You are my hiding place,’ and then felt the glorious peace of knowing God’s presence?” https://goo.gl/AT1AuB

I open the last book my Mother wrote, and read these four lines:  Precious Presence, we are kneeling, Wearied of earth’s emptiness: Feed and fill us with your power, As we strive for holiness.

Another song from the Gaither’s springs forth in my heart… Where could I go, oh, where could I go? Seeking a refuge for my soul.  Needing a friend to help me in the end – Where could I go, but to the Lord?

We can trust in the Lord always, For He sent Jesus to be our sacrifice — His Amazing Grace. Amazing grace! how sweet the sound, That saved a wretch; like me! I once was lost, but now am found, Was blind, but now I see.

Jesus, sent to earth by the Lord God, our Eternal Rock, said with His last breath – It is finished! And with His resurrection, we know our salvation is sure, and we can Trust in the Lord always!

Trust in the Lord always, for the Lord God is the eternal Rock. Isaiah 26:4.
