March 2, 2017 – Colossians 3:15 – Junior Snippet

And let the peace that comes from Christ rule in your hearts. For as members of one body you are called to live in peace. And always be thankful. Colossians 3:15

Let peace.  Let the message about Christ fill our lives.  In Christ Jesus, we are members of one body, like a family. We are called to this peace-living from Jesus himself.

How can we enjoy peace-living? Let.  Allow.  Listen. Fill our lives with the message of the richness of Christ. Teach and encourage each other with wisdom only He can give.  Give thanks in Jesus’ Name to God the Father.

Whatever we do or say, represent Lord Jesus and sing spiritual songs to God our Father. When?  Each moment of our lives, we will live for Jesus!  That Sunday evening the disciples were meeting behind locked doors because they were afraid of the Jewish leaders. Suddenly, Jesus was standing there among them! “Peace be with you,” he said. John 20:19.

Remember this prayer…and pray it often – May God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ give you grace and peace. 1 Corinthians 1:3.  Change the word you to me when you are angry, impatient, or jealous.  May we live in the peace our Jesus grants us as He fills our hearts with love.

Let the message about Christ, in all its richness, fill your lives. Teach and counsel each other with all the wisdom he gives. Sing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs to God with thankful hearts. And whatever you do or say, do it as a representative of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through him to God the Father. Colossians 3:16-17
