March 16, 2021 – Colossians 3:15-16

Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful. Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts. Colossians 3:15-16. (NIV)

Have you ever considered what it takes to have Peace? Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.  John 14: 6.   The first three verses of this chapter preface this verse. “Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me.  In my Father’s house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you?  And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also.”  John 14:1-3.

Dear Father in Heaven, I pray for your Peace in my heart that comes only from believing in your Son, Jesus.   Forgive my unbelief and may I rest in your Love. I pray in the name of Jesus, Amen.

Where does this Peace come from?  Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid. John 14:27.

How do I prove my Love for the Son of God? I give thanks to God through His Name. Everything I say and do, I do in the Name of Jesus.  Jesus is the Way to Peace!

And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him. Colossians 3:17. (NIV)
