March 14, 2016 – Romans 10:9
… because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:9And Jesus cried out and said, “Whoever believes in me, believes not in me but in him who sent me. And whoever sees me sees him who sent me. I have come into the world as light, so that whoever believes in me may not remain in darkness. John 12:44-46Confessing with the mouth underlines the truth of our belief. The promise is heart-deep and changes the heart, the seat of all our decisions and thoughts and soul. We will be saved to live with Jesus for an eternity.Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. John 14:6 Only in Jesus are we sure of salvation….for all have sinned and fallen short of the way and the truth.The angels in heaven rejoice when even one is saved on earth. After this I heard what seemed to be the loud voice of a great multitude in heaven, crying out, “Hallelujah! Salvation and glory and power belong to our God. Revelation 19:1…. And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12May you daily confess Jesus with your mouth and your heart and live for Him. Only in Jesus can there be peace and unity and love for those who love Him. Trusting Him moment by moment makes our lives sweeter than honey and gives us hope for each day.For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confessed and is saved.
