March 11, 2021 – Isaiah 40:28-29
Have you not known? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He does not faint or grow weary; His understanding is unsearchable. He gives power to the faint, and to him who has no might He increases strength. Isaiah 40:28-29.
So weary, we become with this life. And yet this promise of strength from our Lord comes in the form of Hope and Faith in His everlasting Love. For our Lord does not grow weary.
Can we count the number of sunrises and sunsets since God placed the Sun as our Light for the Day? As people grow older, they often see the energy of young people, and remember those moments when it took a longer time to grow weary.
Wait for the Lord and keep his way, and He will exalt you to inherit the land; you will look on when the wicked are cut off. Psalm 37:34.
O Lord of all Creation, Help me to wait on You, in all things. May I trust in You and know the extent of Your Love for me. May my Hope always be in You! I pray in the Name of Your Son, Amen.
The Lord is good to those who wait for Him, to the soul who seeks Him. It is good that one should wait quietly for the salvation of the Lord. Lamentations 3:25-26.
How far does an eagle fly in one day while migrating? 225 miles. When I wait on the Lord, He renews my strength and I will mount up with the wings like eagles and soar in Your Love.
Even youths shall faint and be weary, and young men shall fall exhausted, but they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint. Isaiah 30-31.
