June 5, 2017 – Romans 11:33-35

Oh, how great are God’s riches and wisdom and knowledge! How impossible it is for us to understand his decisions and his ways! For who can know the Lord’s thoughts? Who knows enough to give him advice? And who has given him so much that he needs to pay it back? Romans 11:33-35.

If you were asked to write Who God is, what would you say?  What is your tribute to God?  How would you describe Him?  Can we give our Lord advice about his decisions and thoughts?

All we know is – God loves us.  Everything comes from Him and exists by his power and is intended for His Glory.  The God Who creates breathtaking sunrises and sunsets for our wonder and delight loves us!  God brought love into the world.  The only way we can truly love is to first love our Father and His Son in Heaven. There is no other way.

Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.  You are my friends if you do what I command. John 15:13-14.  When Jesus died on the cross to make a way for us, and He was raised to new life – we saw the glory of God.  A tiny portion of God’s glory we will see, when we choose to follow Him.

We are promised a life of awe and wonder as God teaches us to love one another.  Passing hurts and the valley of shadows simply underline  and deepen our understanding of God’s greatness.

Dear Lord of All, I choose You to follow in this life.  It is only through your gracious love, that I know the joy of life.  It is through your leading and teaching, I live in awe of your steadfast love surrounding me.  All glory to You, forever and ever.  In Jesus’ Name, Amen

For everything comes from him and exists by his power and is intended for his glory. All glory to him forever! Amen. Romans 11:36
