June 5, 2015 – Psalm 13:5-6

But I have trusted in your steadfast love; my heart shall rejoice in your salvation. I will sing to the Lord, because he has dealt bountifully with me. Psalm 13:5-6Trust is when a heart is filled with unconditional love, belief in the One and Only God and the joy of being His.   Trust is contentment in belonging to Jesus and having purpose in life.All these things write the song in our hearts, with a melody that reaches out to God and others.  It is the understanding of belonging.  we flee from anything that casts darkness of evil in our hearts.  We turn our backs on evil.  This is an active choice — to turn to the light.  We must discern what is good from evil.We pursue godliness.  We make choices.  We make choices to follow our Savior Jesus Christ.  We look up and see God’s promise, in a rainbow with the colors of righteousness, godliness, faith, love, steadfastness and gentleness.  The brilliant hues of God’s attributes light up our lives.No words adequately can thank our Lord and Savior for his love and care.  The only way to thank Jesus for his gift of life is to give Him our hearts and our lives with all that is within us.  He gives us the breath of life here on this earth, and He will give us life for an eternity.  That is His Promise.After this, I heard what sounded like a vast crowd in heaven shouting, “Praise the Lord!
