June 3, 2020 – Hebrews 10:22-23

Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, with our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful. Hebrews 10:22-23.

When we choose to draw near to Jesus in our thoughts and in our actions, we find forgiveness and and new way of living.  Our hearts are not plagued with doubts but cling to our hope in Jesus.

We know He is faithful and steadfast, not for the moments we live on earth, but for an eternity. So as to walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to Him: bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God; being strengthened with all power, according to His glorious might, for all endurance and patience with joy; giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of the saints in light.  Colossians 1:10-12.

Turn away from evil and do good; seek peace and pursue it. Psalm 34:14.

How often messengers from God came, saying, “Fear Not!”  Jesus gave us this message of Hope and Peace.  Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid. John 14:27.

Encourage others to love and do good works in the name of Jesus.  Meet together and worship Him.  Rejoice as the Day approaches. “Amazing Love, How can it be, that You would die for me?”

And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near. Hebrews 10:24-25
