June 22, 2020 – Psalm 86:10-11
For you are great and do wondrous things; you alone are God. Teach me your way, O Lord, that I may walk in your truth; unite my heart to fear your name. Psalm 86:10-11.
The awesomeness of our Lord God that brings us to trust Him comes in many ways. The desire to walk in His truth, and not possess a divided heart is the beginning of faith and trust.
A lady, Marguerite Frazier, understood and expressed her awe of God in this poetic way: You cannot move one little star…Nor call the moon down from afar. You can’t create one tiny leaf, Nor conquer death, nor master grief.
If you will look in a baby’s eyes, Or watch the sun traverse the skies, You surely can not help but know…It takes God to make things go.
In this world of hurts, wickedness, and our way often seems blurred, help us to know…It takes God to make things go.
Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever. Hebrews 13:8.
Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” John 14:6.
Dear Father in Heaven, Help me to walk each day to glorify your Name. Help me to love You, O Lord, in such a way, others know, It takes You, O God, to make things go! It takes You to deliver my soul from the depths of despair and no hope. In Jesus’ Name, I pray. Amen.
This God—His way is perfect; the Word of the Lord proves true. Psalm 18:30a.
