June 2, 2017 – Psalm 18:19

He led me to a place of safety; he rescued me because he delights in me. Psalm 18:19.

Delight is a two-way street, just like a hug.  The more we delight in the Lord, the more we know Him, hold Him close, and walk with Him, the more He delights in us.

Life becomes like a glorious lifetime of hope.  Instead of dreading a dismal day, our life becomes a story to be continued forever and ever. Whether we live or die, we hold the Hand of Love and Forgiveness through it all.

Life will be brighter than noonday, and darkness will become like morning. You will be secure, because there is hope; you will look about you and take your rest in safety.  Job 11:17-18.

Holding Jesus close in our hearts, gives us peace, the peace of innocence. We prove ourselves by our purity, our understanding, our patience, our kindness, by the Holy Spirit within us, and by our sincere love. 2 Corinthians 6:6.  Living in peace and innocence equals purity in Christ Jesus.  Our purity is the restoration our Lord Jesus gives us when we live in His Way.  With the Holy Spirit within us, our love, patience and kindness with and for others grows.

Help me, O Lord, to discern when evil whispers in my ear. Give me the strength through the Holy Spirit, to remember You in all my thoughts, words, and actions.  Restore my innocence, I pray in Jesus’ Name…Amen

The Lord rewarded me for doing right; he restored me because of my innocence. For I have kept the ways of the Lord; I have not turned from my God to follow evil. Psalm 18:20-21.
