July 9, 2020 – Psalm 3:4-6
I cried aloud to the Lord, and He answered me from His holy hill, I lay down and slept; I woke again, for the Lord sustained me. I will not be afraid of many thousands of people who have set themselves against me all around. Psalm 3:4-6.
Have you ever wondered why we can’t sleep and yet a baby sleeps so peacefully? It relates with our mind and relationships. When someone is disappointed in us or angry, it is difficult to sleep. Extreme pain comes from our bodies or our hearts
Fear provides a barrier to the peaceful sleep. Yet this is the message from God — Fear Not! Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. Isaiah 41:10.
My favorite ‘Fear Not’ is from Luke 2:10 -11. And the angel said to them, “Fear not, for behold, I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.”
When we realize the Joy of the Lord in our lives and trust Him fully, we know His salvation.
Dear Father in Heaven, Help us to be One with You by trusting Your Word. Help us to reach out to others by loving them like You Love us. Make me a blessing in your Name. In Jesus’ Name we pray. Amen.
“Make me a blessing, make me a blessing, out of my life, May Jesus Shine!” Blessed are the people whose God is the Lord! Psalm 144:15b.
Arise, O Lord! Save me, O my God! For you strike all my enemies on the cheek; you break the teeth of the wicked. Salvation belongs to the Lord; your blessing be on your people! Psalm 3:7-8.
