July 31, 2020 – Ephesians 1:3-6
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places, even as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless before Him. In love, He predestined us for adoption to Himself as sons through Jesus Christ, according to the purpose of His will, to the praise of His glorious grace, with which He has blessed us in the Beloved. Ephesians 1:3-6.
Praise be to our God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. It is Jesus who blesses us with every spiritual blessing in heavenly places. What are these blessings? He chose us, you and me, before He created the Earth, and every tree, and every mountain, and every valley we see. He loved us before we were flesh and blood.
Why? Because He loved us and purposed us as His sons and daughters through Jesus Christ, to live holy and blameless lives. We live in a world where evil where our hearts cry out for His Love, Peace, and Joy. Without Jesus there is no redemption and no forgiveness.
Our Father in Heaven, Hallowed be they Name. Your Kingdom come, Your will be done on earth, as it is in Heaven. Forgive us our debts, as we forgive others. Lead us gently Home, Father, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
Blessed are the people whose God is the Lord! Psalm 144:15b
In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of His grace, which He lavished upon us, in all wisdom and insight making known to us the mystery of His will, according to His purpose, which He set forth in Christ as a plan for the fullness of time, to unite all things in Him, things in heaven and things on earth. Ephesians 1:7-10.
